What is the default console password for S2700 switches?

Solution

The default configuration for the switch is not to set a console password. When using the switch for the first time, you need to pay attention to the following two points:

1. If the display is Enter password, you need to set a password for the console yourself. You just need to set one yourself, and you also need to note that sometimes you can't see any letters when entering the password (this is a normal way to prevent others from peeking at your password). After entering, press enter and confirm again;

2. If it is a password: it means that someone has previously used or set up contact with the person who sold your device or cleared it on bootrom.
